Generator Systems

One of the most critical elements in ensuring energy continuity in data centers is generator systems. Grid outages, voltage drops, or sudden load changes pose serious risks to the uninterrupted operation of critical systems. Therefore, a generator infrastructure that is properly sized, synchronized, and supported by automation is a strategic component directly affecting the continuity class (Tier level) of data centers.

ERFA Information Technologies designs and implements generator systems in data center projects with an engineering discipline, based on load analyses, energy continuity scenarios, and synchronization architectures. Advanced automatic transfer systems (ATS/AMF panels) and parallel operation topologies enable seamless energy transfer within milliseconds.

Generator systems are not just backup power sources; they are also an integral part of energy quality management. Before installation, load scenarios and redundancy targets (N+X) are defined; the generator–UPS–panel trio, along with automatic bypass and emergency procedures, is configured as a single operational architecture. During commissioning, transfer tests, load/no-load operation, cooling-lubrication checks, and alarm scenarios are verified step by step.
